an OEM that makes ozone
generating equipment for
water and wastewater
plants as part of the
purification process.
They required some sturdy,
24-7, 365 high service pumps for
ozonated water circulation. We chose an
Ampco IC series 316SS pumps with silicon carbide seals
and the flanged connection option. This provided the
user with a pump that will perform over the long haul
at a very reasonable investment.
One of our partner
distributors needed
some small but mighty
acid transfer and
recirculation pumps to
simulate “real-time”
system performance in a
pilot plant before building an
entirely new, full scale chemical plant.
Together we chose Jabsco’s “New Gen” 316SS
flexible impeller pumps mounted on 316SS bases with
inverter duty gear motors. This provided the customer
with the versatility they needed during the
R & D stage of their project.
A cruise line required a central
high pressure washdown pump
system to provide high pressure
water at several delivery
points on one of their lux-
ury liners. Through our
distributor we provided
a Cat 3520 pump that
was directly driven by a gear
motor. Everything was mounted
on a very compact skid (space is a
premium on a cruise ship), along with all the
bells and whistles.
Problem: salad dress-
ing transfer from several
locations for a condiment
manufacturer. The solution:
a Jabsco sanitary “New Gen”
316SS flexible impeller pump,
sanitary cart mounted to a
90 vdc/115 vac input variable
speed control. This versatile
pump can be used anywhere in
the plant on many different products,
cleans up very easily, is portable, and very
economical to purchase and operate.
Our distributor’s customer
was a major oil
company that needed
some sealless, high
pressure crude oil
pumps to go into a
pipeline application located in an
environmentally sensitive area.
Depco provided Hydracell pump-motor units complete
with special 316SS heads and special weld-on flange
connections. This innovative packaged solution has
been re-ordered several times by this customer.
A large, multi-
branched supply
company that
has been a cus-
tomer of Depco’s for
many years had a customer
that is a maker of cosmetics and
personal care products. They needed
a sanitary, hygienic, easy to clean pump to
transfer shampoo and other hair products to their bot-
tling line. The Jabsco Hy-Line Lobe pump fit the appli-
cation perfectly. We coupled it to the gearmotor and
mounted everything on a polished stainless steel base.
